Hamilton says he and Leclerc resolved Monza dispute ahead of Madrid race

Hamilton, who finished sixth and later ruled himself out of the title fight, commended Leclerc for showing maturity in the discussion. He described the upcoming Spanish Grand Prix on a new 22-turn street layout in Madrid as extremely challenging and stressed the need for consistency to close the performance gap with Mercedes, which had a six-tenths advantage on Monza’s straights.

Hamilton added that future races could see the teammates working together for podiums rather than finishing fourth and fifth. The talk follows Kimi Antonelli’s unexpected victory at Monza, which extended the championship lead to 76 points with ten rounds remaining. Antonelli described the Monza circuit as the most complex of the year, leaving little room for error.
