Hanwha Life, General Insurance, Asset Management and Investment & Securities each signed agreements with Abu Dhabi's investment bodies to develop digital finance, stablecoins and cross-border payment services.

Hanwha Life Insurance signed a deal with the Abu Dhabi Investment Office to explore digital financial services and strengthen ties between Korean and Abu Dhabi capital markets. Hanwha General Insurance also joined the initiative, while Hanwha Asset Management entered a tripartite partnership with the Abu Dhabi Global Market and Hana Financial Group to develop stablecoin-based infrastructure for payments and remittances between the two regions.

Hanwha Investment & Securities signed a similar accord, and all four affiliates committed to a partnership for Abu Dhabi Finance Week 2026. Executives highlighted Abu Dhabi’s potential as a launchpad for global digital-asset firms and emphasized the aim of turning the cooperation into concrete business opportunities.
