Henriette Jæger claims silver in Budapest 400m at Ultimate Championship

Competing in Budapest's Ultimate Championship, Henriette Jæger secured second place in the women's 400-metre final, while Marileidy Paulino of the Dominican Republic won the event. Jæger's mother and coach, Unn Merete Lie Jæger, described the race as akin to a world-championship final and highlighted the athlete's continued improvement over the season. The Norwegian sprinter, 23, had earlier captured the European championship title in Birmingham and set a national record there.

In June, she also recorded victories at Diamond League meetings in Rome and at the Bislett Games in Oslo. Jæger expressed confidence that she can still deliver stronger performances, noting the demanding nature of the 400-metre distance.
