The Election Commission’s Special Intensive Revision of Delhi’s electoral rolls has issued notices to about 3.31 million voters for "no mapping" or "logical discrepancy" reasons. Among those flagged are External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar and his wife, Chief Minister Rekha Gupta, former Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, BJP veteran L K Advani and family, Kapil Sibal, Manish Sisodia, Kailash Gahlot and senior bureaucrats.
Recipients must submit supporting documents by October 29, after which the commission will consider each case individually and publish the finalized roll on November 4. The Supreme Court has scheduled a hearing on the broader challenge to the roll revision for September 21.
