Hundreds of drones target Moscow as Kyiv suffers fresh casualties

Moscow’s mayor said 163 drones approached the capital overnight, with two people injured, while Kyiv’s mayor reported 15 injuries, including two teenagers, after recent attacks.

During the night, Moscow’s mayor Sergueï Sobianine reported that 163 drones came close to the city, with the majority shot down by air-defence systems, though two civilians sustained injuries. At the same time, Kyiv’s mayor Vitali Klitschko said that 15 people were wounded in recent attacks on the capital, including two 15-year-old adolescents, and eight of the victims remain in hospital. The drone barrage toward Moscow was part of a larger wave of roughly 630 unmanned aircraft launched toward the region, according to Sobianine’s social-media update.

Ukrainian officials also noted a missile strike that injured six and damaged transport infrastructure. These incidents underscore the heightened intensity of hostilities on both fronts.
