Hungarian Prime Minister Magyar Péter doused with drink at Szekszárd wine festival

During a visit to the Szekszárd Harvest Days, Prime Minister Magyar Péter was unexpectedly doused with the liquid from a man's glass, which the man then drank. A video posted by the prime minister shows the splash and his subsequent conversation with local patrons, while his bodyguard led the man away from the scene. Magyar Péter criticized the attacker as timid and expressed regret over the loss of fine Szekszárd wine.

He recalled a similar episode at Nyugati Pályaudvar when he was hit with a bottle during a joint press conference with Vitézy Dávid. At that time, he said such attacks were not unusual and did not make him feel unsafe. The recent incident adds to a pattern of minor assaults on the premier during public appearances.
