HungaroMet warns that a cooling spell will begin on Monday as a cold front moves over Hungary, clearing the southern and eastern regions for a few hours of sunshine before clouds return. Daytime temperatures are forecast between 18 °C and 24 °C, but early mornings could drop to around 4 °C in wind-exposed locations.
Tuesday will see mostly sunny skies with occasional showers in the north-east and possible gusty north-west winds across the Danube region and central areas. Wednesday continues the pattern with sunny intervals, scattered showers in the east and north-east, and strong northern breezes that may produce brief gusts. Thursday brings increased cloud cover from the west and north-west, raising rainfall chances in western regions and reviving the north-west wind, which may again reach higher speeds. The weekend should see a moderation, with mostly sunny, dry conditions and milder winds.
