Ian Wace assists Prince Harry and Meghan Markle with UK relocation

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are receiving financial support from hedge-fund billionaire Ian Wace for their return to the United Kingdom, two insiders disclosed. Wace, a founding partner who holds the titles of Chief Executive Officer and Chief Risk Officer at Marshall Wace LLP, has a close personal connection with the duke. The family has spent time on Wace’s 800-acre private island, Tanera Mor, in Scotland, which he purchased in 2017 for $2.3 million and later invested $135 million to restore.

Their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, accompanied the couple on a July visit to the island. The move was confirmed after the palace was alerted, with King Charles III reportedly aware of the decision. Shortly after the news broke, the Sussexes arrived in Birmingham on a private jet costing $120,000 and are reportedly looking for a home in the Cotswolds near Highgrove House.
