Iran says renewed US-Israel attacks won’t alter its war stance

Iranian foreign minister Araghchi warned that any new US-Israel offensive will meet the same outcome as previous strikes, while emphasizing Tehran’s unchanged policy.

In a televised event from Tehran, Iran’s foreign minister Araghchi responded to escalating US and Israeli threats by stating that Tehran’s policy will not shift even if a new war erupts. He referenced two prior attacks, saying they demonstrated the limited success of such actions and that any repeat would produce comparable outcomes. Araghchi highlighted that the ongoing conflict has reshaped realities in the region, particularly affecting navigation through the Strait of Hormuz, which Iran claims to control.

He urged a return to the previously negotiated settlement and the eventual withdrawal of foreign military presence to achieve stability. The remarks came as US President Donald Trump hinted at a possible “little Epic Fury” campaign against Iran, while both sides accuse each other of violating a June memorandum intended to end hostilities.
