Israeli forces kill four Palestinians, including a 7-year-old girl, in Gaza cease-fire breaches

Israeli military actions and allied gunmen killed four Palestinians, among them a 7-year-old girl, and wounded 14 others in Gaza despite a cease-fire.

According to a medical source at Nasser Hospital, Israeli forces and Israel-backed gunmen killed four Palestinians, including a 7-year-old girl, during a series of attacks that violated the cease-fire. Two young men and a girl were brought to the hospital after an airstrike and gunfire hit the Bir 19 area west of Khan Younis, where the girl was shot inside her displacement tent. Separate Israeli strikes west of Khan Younis killed another man and injured four people.

In the Ard al-Shawa area east of Deir al-Balah, a Palestinian woman suffered moderate injuries from gunfire. Israeli artillery also shelled eastern Gaza City, and tanks positioned behind the “Yellow Line” opened fire on neighborhoods east of the city. Despite the cease-fire that began on Oct. 10, 2025, the Gaza Health Ministry says daily attacks have killed at least 1,551 Palestinians and injured 5,573 since then.

Why it matters

The killings highlight ongoing violations of the Gaza cease-fire and the humanitarian toll on civilians.
