Johor records several locations with unhealthy air quality index levels

As of 10 p.m., the highest Air Pollution Index (API) in Johor was 154 in Pasir Gudang, followed by 153 in Kota Tinggi, 152 in Pengerang and 129 in Larkin. In Sarawak, the districts of Serian and Sri Aman logged API values of 117 and 109 respectively, both classified as unhealthy. Across the nation, 56 areas reported moderate air quality and six areas enjoyed good conditions. The API scale defines 0-50 as good, 51-100 moderate, 101-200 unhealthy, 201-300 very unhealthy, and above 300 hazardous.
