Legora secures $550 million Series E to accelerate global AI legal platform rollout

Legal-tech startup Legora raised $550 million in a Series E round, valuing the company at $8.8 billion and funding its expansion across North America, Europe and Asia-Pacific.

Legora, a legal-technology company headquartered in Stockholm, closed a $550 million Series E financing round that lifts its post-money valuation to $8.8 billion. The capital will fund the firm’s continued expansion in the United States, where it already operates in New York, Denver, Chicago, Houston, San Francisco, Toronto and Mexico City, as well as further market penetration across Europe and the Asia-Pacific region.

Existing backers such as Nvidia’s venture arm NVentures and Atlassian participated, while Atreides Management led the round alongside new investors Baron Capital, Capital Research, Fidelity Management & Research Company and Glade Brook Capital Partners. CEO and co-founder Max Junestrand highlighted the opportunity to shape the AI-driven transformation of legal work and to scale the Legora aOS agentic operating system. CFO David Eckstein noted that the firm has surpassed $200 million in annual recurring revenue, after accelerating from $1 million to $100 million in 18 months and adding another $100 million in less than six months. Legora plans an aggressive hiring push in London in 2026 to sustain its growth trajectory.
