Meghan Markle and Malala Yousafzai dine together at Claridge's in London
Meghan Markle was seen sharing a meal with longtime friend Malala Yousafzai at Claridge’s, marking her first public appearance in London since returning to the UK.
Meghan Markle made her inaugural London appearance since relocating back to the United Kingdom by dining at the luxury Claridge’s hotel in Mayfair. She was accompanied by Malala Yousafzai, the Pakistani education activist and Nobel Peace Prize winner, with whom she has maintained a friendship since a 2020 virtual conversation about girls’ education. The two were filmed by a group of friends enjoying champagne, seated in a corner booth and appearing engrossed in dialogue.
Their meeting follows the recent public outing of Prince Harry and Meghan at The Falkland Arms pub in Great Tew, Oxfordshire. Earlier that day, Meghan’s lifestyle label As Ever introduced a Christmas hamper range featuring three curated baskets priced between £159 and £195. The appearance underscores the pair’s ongoing collaboration on advocacy for girls’ education while also coinciding with the brand’s holiday product launch.
