Modi says BJP will stay committed to service regardless of political power

Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the Seva Sankalp Yatra participants via video conference, asserting that the BJP’s governance will always be rooted in service, irrespective of the level of power it holds. He highlighted that the party’s values have consistently centered on serving citizens, from its origins in Gujarat to its current presence in Delhi. The yatra, which began in Vadnagar and is headed toward Varanasi, marks Modi’s 76th birthday and his quarter-century tenure as an elected representative, with the group presently in Dewas district, Madhya Pradesh.

Modi urged the youth to demonstrate service through actions rather than rhetoric, invoking the principle “Seva Paramo Dharmah.” One attendee mentioned that a village in Jhabua district was renamed ‘Modi Phalia’ as a tribute. The message reinforces the BJP’s narrative of citizen-first governance ahead of upcoming electoral cycles.
