Elon’s political engagements, including support for Donald Trump in 2024 and the German AfD, have sparked accusations of racism and led to death threats, which Maye finds appalling. She now dedicates roughly four hours each day to monitoring his social-media platform X. The family also strives to keep gatherings away from public scrutiny.
