Oppo Find X10 Pro Max reviewed: Triple 200MP cameras but modest upgrades
Oppo's new Find X10 Pro Max arrives in Europe and Asia with three 200-megapixel lenses, a bright 6.78-inch display and a 7,150 mAh battery, yet offers few groundbreaking changes over its predecessor.
Oppo launches the Find X10 Pro Max across Europe, Asia and other markets, positioning it beneath the Find X9 Ultra and replacing the prior Find X9 Pro. The handset retains the familiar Find X series silhouette, adding a slim orange accent around a circular camera module and a matte-finished aluminum frame with a smooth back panel. It houses a 6.78-inch display capable of 3,600 nits brightness, adaptive refresh rates from 1 to 144 Hz, 10-bit color and Dolby Vision, though color-temperature changes are subtle.
Photographically, the device uses three distinct 200 MP sensors—main, telephoto and ultrawide—built on a 1/1.3-inch Samsung HPC chip, which is about 25 % smaller than the X9 Ultra's Sony sensor, leading to modestly poorer low-light results. New imaging software, including the Lumo True engine and DeepPix technology, aims for more natural colors and up to 17 stops of video dynamic range, but improvements are incremental.
Battery life is supported by a 7,150 mAh silicon-carbon cell with up to 80 W fast charging and 50 W proprietary wireless charging, while the MediaTek Dimensity 9600 Pro chipset delivers responsive performance. Pricing starts at £1,499 in the UK, with early-buyer incentives such as a free teleconverter kit, smartwatch or tablet and trade-in discounts.
Why it matters
The review shows Oppo's incremental approach, highlighting whether its premium pricing delivers enough new value for consumers.
