Pacers to Host Knicks in NBA Cup Play, Game Set for Amazon Prime Broadcast

Indianapolis will see the Pacers face the defending champion Knicks on Nov. 13, with the matchup streamed nationally on Amazon's Prime network as part of the NBA Cup group stage.

Wednesday's release of the NBA Cup group-play calendar highlights two marquee home dates for the Indiana Pacers. On Nov. 13, the Pacers will host the defending champion New York Knicks at Gainbridge Fieldhouse, and the contest will be televised across the nation on Amazon's Prime network. A second headline matchup arrives on Nov. 27 when the Pacers welcome the Philadelphia 76ers, marking the first appearances of LeBron James and Jaylen Brown in their new team uniforms.

The Pacers open the group stage on Oct. 30 in Miami, where Giannis Antetokounmpo will suit up for the Heat after his offseason move, and later travel to Cleveland to play the Cavaliers on Nov. 20. The Pacers' group, deemed a "group of death," also includes the Knicks, Cavaliers, 76ers and Heat, all of whom reached the postseason last year. The Cup will progress to knockout rounds in early December, with the championship slated for Butler's Hinkle Fieldhouse on Dec. 11.

Why it matters
