PKR accuses Mukhriz of spreading false PN deregistration claims
PKR secretary-general Fuziah Salleh said Mukhriz shared unverified slides that wrongly linked the party to a plan to deregister the PN coalition.
Mukhriz circulated images of four alleged proposals, such as halting PN’s operations and seeking legal steps to dissolve the coalition, on his social media channels. PKR secretary-general Fuziah Salleh countered that the slides were not discussed at any PKR congress or prepared by party members, noting they first surfaced on Facebook on Sept 24. She expressed disappointment that an experienced politician shared the material without verification, labeling the claims defamatory.
The controversy emerged after the Registrar of Societies deregistered PN, citing an unsatisfactory response to a show-cause notice. That deregistration followed a Bersatu grievance about being excluded from a PN Supreme Council meeting in July. Fuziah emphasized that the Bersatu complaint was an internal PN matter and unrelated to PKR.
