President Nawrocki’s Family Receives Three Horses at Presidential Estate, Funding Details Unclear

President Karol Nawrocki, his wife Marta and daughter Kasia now have three horses kept at the presidential centre in Promnik, but officials did not disclose purchase or upkeep costs.

According to one outlet, the presidential centre in Promnik holds three horses for Karol Nawrocki, his spouse Marta and their eight-year-old daughter Kasia, identified as Edzio, Ramzes and Aramis. These animals are owned by the Centre for the President’s Office, a public-finance unit distinct from the Chancellery, and are not listed as its property. The office did not answer queries about the purchase price or ongoing maintenance costs, though estimates suggest monthly care could be between about 1.5 k and 3.5 k zł per horse, covering feed and veterinary services.

Additionally, a horse assigned to a State Protection Service officer for presidential rides is funded by SOP. Nawrocki first spoke publicly about his new equestrian hobby in late August, mentioning riding in Jurata and training with SOP personnel. Historically, only one previous president, Wojciech Jaruzelski, owned a personal horse.
