On September 16, President Prabowo Subianto gathered a select group of cabinet members and senior officials at the Presidential Palace in Jakarta after attending the opening of the Kelapa Gading-Manggarai LRT line. Participants included Coordinating Minister for Food Affairs Zulkifli Hasan, Finance Minister Suahasil Nazara, Energy Minister Bahlil Lahadalia, Bank Indonesia Governor Destry Damayanti, BP BUMN head Dony Oskaria and Pertamina Deputy CEO Oki Muraza.
The discussion aimed to outline actions to meet Indonesia’s energy needs, with Bahlil emphasizing plans to expand the biodiesel program beyond the existing B50 blend by leveraging local resources. He also noted his role as Golkar Party chair. Erick Thohir added that state-owned enterprises and Pertamina would present a report to the president, but declined to specify further agenda items.
