Pro-ICE MAGA blogger Samuel Sey taken into ICE custody in Ohio

Self-described pro-ICE conservative blogger Samuel Sey was arrested by ICE agents and is being held in an Ohio detention facility.

Samuel Sey, a prominent MAGA-aligned online personality who lists blogging, teaching, pro-life advocacy and public speaking among his roles, was apprehended by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement. According to the Ohio jail’s public records, he was booked on Oct. 21 and remains detained under ICE authority. Sey’s arrest highlights a rare instance of a vocal supporter of the agency being taken into its own custody. No additional charges or court proceedings have been disclosed beyond his ongoing detention. The case underscores internal tensions within the immigration enforcement community.

Why it matters

The arrest shows that even outspoken supporters of ICE can be subject to its enforcement actions.
