Protesters Demand Arrest of Iran’s President Outside UN General Assembly Session

During a speech to the United Nations General Assembly, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian portrayed his country as a victim of American and Israeli terrorism. Outside the assembly hall, about a thousand protesters gathered, repeatedly demanding his arrest and branding him a terrorist, murderer, and liar. Former New York City Mayor Rudy Guillani and retired Lt. General Keith Kellogg denounced the Iranian regime as murderous and compared negotiations to dealing with Hitler.

Former U.S. Ambassador Marc Ginsberg urged Congress to pass the “Maximum Support Act” to seize Iranian assets and fund internet freedom. Maryam Rajavi, president-elect of the National Council of Resistance of Iran, delivered a video message urging the world to free Iran from the clerical rule. Deputy Director Alireza Jafarzadeh emphasized that only internal popular pressure can change the regime, insisting external sanctions remain the only effective tool.
