Provincial officials plan psychological aid team for Banga high school after shooting

The South Cotabato provincial government is discussing sending a trained psychological first-aid team to Banga National High School to help students, teachers and parents cope with the recent shooting.

Following a shooting at Banga National High School, officials from South Cotabato are evaluating the deployment of a psychological first-aid crew. Rolly Doane Aquino, head of the Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office, said the team would support students directly and could also assist teachers and parents. The proposal is still under discussion among provincial leaders.
