Real Madrid cruise to 4-1 Champions League victory over RB Leipzig

Real Madrid defeated RB Leipzig 4-1 in a Champions League group match, keeping their unbeaten run intact.

In the Champions League group stage, Real Madrid defeated RB Leipzig 4-1, extending their perfect record to three wins. The Norwegian forward Antonio Nusa troubled Leipzig’s defense and created a chance that was blocked by defender Antonio Rüdiger. Bernardo Silva opened the scoring after a save by Leipzig keeper Maarten Vandevoordt, and Arda Güler doubled the lead before Mbappe added two more, the second from a header off a Bellingham cross.

Leipzig’s Tidiam Gomis pulled one back late in the game, but Yan Diomande restored Madrid’s three-goal margin shortly after. The result leaves Leipzig with only one win from three matches.
