Retired Air Marshal Jitendra Mishra appointed first CEO of Ram Temple Trust

During a recent gathering in Ayodhya, the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust introduced retired Air Marshal Jitendra Mishra as its first chief executive officer, adding three new trustees to its board. Mishra, who led the Indian Air Force's Western Air Command in the 2025 Operation Sindoor and received the Sarvottam Yudh Seva Medal for his service, retired from the force in April 2026 after a career spanning nearly four decades.

His background includes extensive flying experience, command of frontline bases, and senior strategic positions at Air Headquarters. The trust's decision comes amid concerns about alleged irregularities in the management of temple donations, prompting a push for stronger governance. Mishra's military leadership and strategic planning expertise are expected to enhance the trust's operational efficiency as it oversees the Ram Janmabhoomi Mandir project.
