Russia's missile and drone barrage kills 10 and injures 91 across Ukraine

Russian missile and drone attacks over the past day killed at least ten people and wounded 91 across Ukraine, with Kyiv hit by ballistic missiles for a second night.

Russia unleashed a wave of 39 ballistic missiles and 128 Shahed-type drones on Ukraine in the past day, targeting energy facilities and civilian areas in Kyiv, Kyiv Oblast and Kharkiv among other regions. Kyiv authorities confirmed four fatalities and 25 injuries, including three women and a 7-year-old girl hit in a nine-storey residential building. President Volodymyr Zelensky said the attacks used Iskander-M, KN-23, S-400, Zircon and Onyx missiles and left 600,000 people without electricity.

The Ukrainian Air Force reported neutralising four missiles and 115 drones. Governors in Kyiv, Rivne, Kharkiv, Donetsk, Sumy, Kherson, Zaporizhzhia, Lviv, Dnipropetrovsk and Chernihiv detailed additional injuries, deaths and damage to homes, schools and critical infrastructure, bringing the total toll to at least ten dead and 91 wounded.
