Russian drone hits Kyiv's Northern Bridge, marking fourth day of bridge attacks
A Russian drone struck the roadway of Kyiv's Northern Bridge, damaging the pavement and trolleybus overhead lines and prompting a partial vehicle shutdown, mayor Vitali Klitschko said. The strike follows a series of attacks on the city's bridges over the past several days, including earlier hits on the Southern Bridge. President Volodymyr Zelensky noted that the week has seen more than 1,900 drones, 1,700 aerial bombs and 25 missiles used against Ukraine. Emergency services responded to the Northern Bridge incident, and traffic between Kyiv's eastern and western districts remains restricted while repairs are assessed.
