Russian drone strikes kill five and injure dozens in Kherson and Zaporizhzhia

Russian drone attacks in Kherson and Zaporizhzhia killed at least five people and wounded several others, officials said.

Russian forces launched drone attacks that resulted in civilian casualties in two Ukrainian cities. In Kherson, a drone struck a yellow bus at around 8:50 am local time, killing four passengers and injuring four more. The same day, Governor Ivan Fedorov reported that a drone hit Zaporizhzhia, causing one death and seven injuries, and damaging residential and non-residential structures.

Prokudin said the injured were taken to hospitals, while Fedorov noted a fire broke out at the Zaporizhzhia site. These attacks add to a pattern of Russian drone strikes on civilian areas in the region.
