Russian glide-bomb and drone strikes kill 41, wound dozens across Ukraine
Russian glide-bombs and drones struck multiple Ukrainian regions, leaving at least 41 dead and 67 injured.
Russian military operations intensified overnight, deploying glide-bombs, Shahed-type drones and artillery across Ukraine. In Zaporizhzhia, glide-bombs destroyed residential buildings, killing one and wounding seven, while the oblast suffered two deaths and 18 injuries after 1,039 strikes on 51 settlements. The Ukrainian Air Force intercepted 114 of 136 drones, yet attacks in Donetsk killed 35 people, most in Kramatorsk, and other regions saw additional casualties, including two children in Sumy and a 67-year-old man in Ivano-Frankivsk.
Governors and local officials, including Ivan Fedorov, Vadym Filashkin, Oleh Syniehubov and Svitlana Onyshchuk, provided the figures. Overall, at least 41 civilians were killed and 67 injured as Russian forces targeted both infrastructure and residential areas.
