Sarawak sees three locations with unhealthy air quality at 6 pm

According to the Department of Environment's Air Pollutant Index Management System, three Sarawak districts remained in the unhealthy range at 6 pm, a reduction from four locations at 2 pm. Serian logged the peak value of 169, down from 174, while Samarahan and Kuching recorded 156 and 154, respectively. Sri Aman dropped to a moderate 98 after previously hitting 156.

Elsewhere, Bukit Rambai in Melaka measured 91, Larkin and Pasir Gudang in Johor each showed 85, and Nilai in Negri Sembilan was at 83. Several other towns, including Bintulu, Sarikei, Kapit, Shah Alam and Johan Setia, reported moderate readings, and locations such as Tanah Merah, Langkawi and Besut enjoyed good air quality. The API scale defines 0-50 as good, 51-100 moderate, and 101-200 unhealthy.
