Scottie Scheffler Captures FedEx St. Jude Title, Earns $3.6 Million

World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler won the FedEx St. Jude Championship by eight strokes, pocketing a $3.6 million prize.

World-ranked Scottie Scheffler surged to an eight-stroke victory at the FedEx St. Jude Championship held at TPC Southwind, recording a 4-under 66 in the final round. The win delivered a $3.6 million check, ending a season that had seen him finish second five times and lose two playoffs. The triumph marked his 21st PGA Tour win and placed him among a select group of golfers who have won by eight or more strokes in the past four decades.

The event launched the PGA Tour postseason, with the top 70 FedExCup players qualifying, though only 68 finished after Daniel Berger withdrew and Robert MacIntyre exited after round one. Payouts ranged from $2.16 million for runner-up Si Woo Kim down to $41,400 for those tied at 68th place.

Why it matters

The win gives Scheffler a huge payday and momentum heading into the season-ending playoffs.
