Senator Jon Ossoff to headline Hollywood fundraiser ahead of Georgia Senate vote

Georgia’s Democratic senator Jon Ossoff, currently ahead of Rep. Mike Collins in the Senate race, will appear at a West-Side Los Angeles fundraiser on September 10. The party is being held at the residence of Dayna Bochco, widow of TV producer Steven Bochco, and is co-hosted by Ada Horwich, Tom Unterman and his wife Janet, plus filmmaker Jake Kasdan and his wife, singer Inara George. Admission begins at $500, and each co-host must either raise or donate $7,000.

The event follows a weekend of donor outreach in the Hamptons that featured other prominent Democrats such as Rahm Emanuel and Josh Shapiro. Ossoff, who has dismissed any presidential ambitions for 2028, has been gaining national attention for his criticism of President Donald Trump. His growing ties to Hollywood echo earlier support from celebrities like Debra Messing and Alyssa Milano.
