Spider-Man Leads UK-Ireland Box Office While The Odyssey Holds Strong in Second Spot

Sony’s Spider-Man: Brand New Day stayed on top of the UK and Ireland box office for a second week, with Universal’s The Odyssey remaining in second place.

Sony’s Spider-Man: Brand New Day captured another week at the summit of the UK-Ireland market, pulling in £10.1 million and reaching a 13-day haul of $87.4 million. Close behind, Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey secured the runner-up slot, contributing $4.8 million to a running total of $82.6 million. Paramount’s animated entry Paw Patrol: The Dino Movie debuted in third place with $2.2 million, while Disney’s Toy Story 5, now in its eighth week, added $848,063 to push its cumulative earnings to $72.5 million.

Other notable performers included Universal’s Minions & Monsters, Disney’s live-action Moana, and the horror title Ice Cream Man, each adding modest sums to their totals. Upcoming releases such as Warner Bros.’ End Of Oak Street starring Anne Hathaway and Ewan McGregor, and A24’s Tony starring Dominic Sessa and Antonio Banderas, are slated for wide openings. Specialized and international titles like Andre Rieu’s 2026 Summer Concert and the Tamil rom-com Hi! also entered the chart.
