Student leader Neha Bora walks with Rahul and Priyanka Gandhi in Delhi protest

Student activist Neha Bora joined Rahul and Priyanka Gandhi in a large Delhi march demanding the resignation of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar over alleged roll-revision irregularities.

In central Delhi on Monday, a massive crowd marched to the Supreme Court demanding the resignation of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar over alleged irregularities in the Special Intensive Revision of electoral rolls. Prominent opposition figures Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi led the procession, with student activist Neha Bora, president of AISA, walking alongside Priyanka while Rahul kept the crowd at a distance.

The rally featured several other student leaders, including SFI joint secretary Aishe Ghosh, NSUI member Jannat Bishnoi, a Delhi University Students’ Union executive councillor, and former JNU student union president N Sai Balaji. Rahul Gandhi likened the demonstrations to a unified “Shiva tandava” and dismissed parallel protests. At the same time, the Cockroach Janata Party staged its own protest, with its leaders detained at the airport and later by Delhi police, prompting additional demonstrations demanding their release. The police also announced the de-notification of Jantar Mantar as a protest site, designating three new venues across the city.
