Sumar pushes for bolder housing reforms as government prepares decree

A rare gathering of left-wing parties—from Izquierda Unida to EH Bildu—met at the Gregorio Marañón hospital to show unity on the issue. Sumar argues that the social pressure generated by the case and the Puerta del Sol encampment creates a fleeting opportunity for substantive reform. The group plans to keep pressure on the government up to the final hours before the council of ministers meets.
