Teen charged after violent raid on The Bottle-O in Narellan Vale, four suspects still at large

Police arrested a 13-year-old and charged him with larceny after a group of youths stormed The Bottle-O in Narellan Vale, stealing alcohol and assaulting staff; four other youths remain wanted.

At approximately 6:05 pm on Saturday, five teenagers approached The Bottle-O in Narellan Vale, prompting owner Guo to suspect trouble based on their appearance. Despite her attempt to block entry, the youths pushed past, seized alcohol, and assaulted both Guo and her 20-year-old son Santiago, who was punched in the left eye and suffered a severe headache. CCTV footage later revealed broken bottles and liquor scattered across the shop floor.

Police arrested a 13-year-old outside the store, charging him with larceny involving property worth less than $2,000 and a separate theft at a Mount Annan business; he was granted conditional bail and will appear in children’s court on November 2. Santiago estimates the loss at about $1,000, but the family also reports lasting fear and anxiety about future encounters with young people. Authorities are urging anyone with additional video or information to contact Camden Police Area Command or Crime Stoppers.
