Teenage girl alleges gang rape by men posing as police in Delhi park

A Faridabad resident, 17, reported that she and a 17-year-old male companion went to the Kalkaji temple for prayers on her birthday and later walked to Aastha Kunj Park. Inside the park, three men aged between 30 and 35 introduced themselves as police officers, confiscated the youths' phones, and assaulted the boy. The girl was taken to a dark spot, where she was repeatedly assaulted while the assailants held a knife to her neck and threatened her with a pistol.

Following the attack, the perpetrators returned the victims' clothes and phones, urging them to leave quickly and not involve the authorities. The survivor remembered the name of one attacker, Asif, and nicknames for the others, Hemant Singh and Mukesh Singh, as well as their clothing, enabling police to locate and arrest all three suspects, with Asif captured after a brief shootout and the others seized from a residence in Srinivaspuri.
