Two 16-year-olds to face murder charges in schoolboy's death
Police in Negeri Sembilan have filed murder charges against two teenage suspects for the killing of Idlan Fareeq Shahril.
Negeri Sembilan police chief Alzafny Ahmad announced that the probe into the death of Idlan Fareeq Shahril has been completed and forwarded to the state prosecutor’s office. The two teenage suspects, both aged 16, will be charged with murder under Section 302 together with Section 34 of the Penal Code. Their court appearance is set for 9:30 a.m. tomorrow at the Kuala Pilah magistrates’ court.
Idlan was discovered unconscious in the dormitory of a sports school in Kuala Pilah on September 25 and was pronounced dead after being taken to Tuanku Ampuan Najihah Hospital. His aunt claimed a senior student at the hostel had assaulted him, and police said the victim had been caught vaping two days earlier before the alleged attack.
