Two killed and at least seven injured in Russian strike on Kyiv apartment block
A Russian attack on a 25-storey residential building in Kyiv's Darnitsky district left two dead and at least seven wounded, President Volodymyr Zelenskyj said.
Volodymyr Zelenskyj announced that a Russian assault on a 25-storey residential tower in Kyiv's Darnitsky district resulted in two deaths and a minimum of seven injuries. Police investigations revealed that one of the deceased was discovered in a vehicle adjacent to the building. Images circulating on unofficial Telegram channels depicted sections of the block on fire.
Across Ukraine on the same Monday, local authorities recorded at least six additional killings, including a drone strike in Lozova, a village attack near Kramatorsk, and separate incidents near Fastiv and in Dnipro. In Kharkiv, five people were hurt when the entrance to another apartment block collapsed during an attack. Russian strikes, once primarily nocturnal, are now occurring around the clock.
