Union sinks to record low in latest INSA poll while AfD stays ahead

The recent INSA poll for the "one outlet am Sonntag" indicates that the Union has fallen to its lowest support rating since the start of one outlet legislative period. The AfD stayed firmly in first place, preserving a sizable gap ahead of the Union. The Greens managed to improve their standing, achieving their best result since September 2023.

The SPD saw a modest rise, and the Left party held steady at ten percent. Meanwhile, the FDP slipped to a level that would prevent it from entering the Bundestag, and the BSW also remained below the five-percent hurdle. Combined, the Union and SPD now account for just over a third of the vote, while the SPD, Greens and Left together reach a historic high for this term.
