Recent U.S. Central Command reports say three Iranian tankers tied to the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps were disabled or destroyed. Both officials indicated that while a diplomatic settlement is still preferred, the U.S. is not counting on it and will maintain pressure until Tehran’s actions become untenable.
