Jules Gounon earned pole position in the #3 Mercedes-AMG and, together with co-driver Dani Juncadella, crossed the line first, delivering the team's first win of the weekend. The squad posted enthusiastic messages online, highlighting the long-awaited triumph.
Chris Lulham did not participate in the event. In parallel, Max Verstappen was seen enjoying a holiday in Italy, accompanied by Mercedes CEO and team principal Toto Wolff, a repeat of their informal meeting from the previous year.
