In a brief statement, President Volodymyr Zelensky detailed the aftermath of a Russian assault on the Ukrainian city of Kramatorsk, which struck civilian zones and two minibus lines. He announced that the attack has caused more than 30 deaths, with several victims still unrecognised because of the seriousness of their wounds. Additionally, 18 people were reported injured, and nearby homes and vehicles suffered damage.
Zelensky expressed condolences to the families of the deceased and urged the global community to respond firmly to Russia's actions in the Donbas region. He pledged that the strike will not go unanswered and called for continued international support.
