Arsenal anticipates Premier League interest in 19-year-old Ethan Nwaneri

Arsenal says Premier League sides are expected to join the bidding for 19-year-old Ethan Nwaneri after already fielding inquiries from Galatasaray and a proposal from AC Milan.

Arsenal confirmed that interest in 19-year-old Ethan Nwaneri is growing, with AC Milan, Galatasaray and several German clubs already reaching out. The club expects additional Premier League suitors to emerge before the transfer deadline. A recent loan proposal from Milan that included a €40 million option to buy was turned down, as Arsenal requires a permanent transfer or an obligatory purchase clause.

No comment was made about a straight loan arrangement. Nwaneri was left out of Arsenal’s Community Shield roster, joining other players such as Gabriel Martinelli and Gabriel Jesus who are also rumored to be on the move. The Gunners remain open to offers for these fringe players ahead of the September cut-off.

Why it matters

The potential departure of a highly rated youngster could reshape Arsenal's squad and affect Premier League transfer dynamics.
