CJP leader urges state education ministers to reveal school funding and facilities data

Abhijeet Dipke, who founded and convenes the Cockroach Janta Party, sent an open letter to education ministers across all Indian states demanding full transparency on public school conditions. He seeks figures on recent school renovations, the count of sanctioned teaching posts versus those filled, and the total funding earmarked and actually expended in the last five years. Dipke also asks how many additional schools are needed to guarantee reasonable access to quality education, what non-teaching responsibilities teachers carry, and whether schools have adequate computers, clean toilets and proper sports facilities.

His request highlights ongoing concerns that many government schools lack safe drinking water, functional washrooms, and even basic seating for students. The appeal frames the right to information as essential for citizens to assess progress in public education. No response from the ministries has been reported yet.
