Four-year-old child found dead after house fire in Woodstock, NSW

A house fire in Woodstock, near Cowra, NSW killed a four-year-old child while a woman and two other children escaped.

Firefighters responded to a blaze at a home in Woodstock late Saturday. A woman and two children managed to get out, but a four-year-old remained missing. After the fire was extinguished, the child's body was discovered inside. The woman was hospitalized with smoke inhalation, and police have opened a crime scene investigation. A coroner's report will follow.
