Ipswich Town eye Manchester City defender Juma Bah in summer transfer

Enzo Maresca’s Manchester City has settled its centre-back rotation, featuring players such as Ruben Dias and Josko Gvardiol, while younger prospects like Juma Bah remain on the periphery. The Sierra Leone-born defender joined City from Real Valladolid in January 2025 and has spent the last 18 months on loan in Ligue 1 with RC Lens and OGC Nice. Ipswich Town, a Premier League side expected to fight relegation, have reportedly shown interest in acquiring him.

Sources say City are demanding £15 million upfront plus £10 million in add-ons, and would likely retain a sell-on percentage or buy-back clause. With limited opportunities at City, a transfer to Ipswich would provide Bah with regular first-team football in England’s top division. The move is expected to materialise this summer, though the final destination remains uncertain.
