Malaysian citizen rescued after weeks missing in Nepal floods
A Chinese man traveling alone, listed among 55 missing Malaysians after Nepal's floods, contacted the Malaysian embassy on Oct 1 and returned home today.
Following severe floods and landslides in Nepal, 55 Malaysians were reported missing. One of them, a Chinese solo traveler, reached out to the Malaysian Embassy in Kathmandu on Oct 1. He was flown back to Malaysia this morning, reuniting with his family after 37 days of uncertainty. The information was provided by MASFIH spokesperson Dr Manivannan Rethinam.
