Police employing a drone discovered 24 bodies inside a single house in Nuwakot district, and at least 17 more were recovered from rivers downstream in India. Prime Minister Balendra Shah described the catastrophe as “unimaginable and heartbreaking.” Recovery and identification efforts continue amid a large-scale humanitarian crisis.
