Mayors and SPOLU lead in Prague while ANO trails in Ústí after partial vote count

Partial results show Starostové ahead of SPOLU in Prague, while the Jedno Ústí coalition is ahead of ANO in Ústí nad Labem.

Vote counting across Czech municipalities is nearing completion, with roughly three quarters of precincts reported. In the capital, Starostové have a clear advantage over the SPOLU coalition, while the fifth-place Piráti also secure seats. Brno’s results favor a partnership of KDU-ČSL and STAN, surpassing both ANO and the ODS-TOP 09 bloc.

Ostrava shows a strong lead for ANO, ahead of a coalition of ODS, KDU-ČSL and TOP 09. In Ústí nad Labem, the Jedno Ústí coalition, comprising PRO!Ústí, Piráti, Zelení, STAN, TOP 09, UFO and Naše Česko, is projected to capture over half the votes, relegating ANO to the opposition. ANO maintains sizable leads in Plzeň, Pardubice and Přerov, while local movements such as Naše Česko perform well in České Budějovice. Overall, independent and local groups are set to obtain the most council seats, with KDU-ČSL, STAN, ODS and ANO also securing significant mandates.
